How Does Our Business Address Service Work

There are lots of reasons which you may prefer not to use your home address.

These include:

  • A non-residential address looks more professional.

  • As your address is publicly disclosed, this could result in unwanted visitors and unsolicited mail being sent to your home.

  • Some mortgage companies can restrict you from using your home address for business purposes.

  • If you are renting your property, then you will be unable to use it, without prior permission.

  • It may leave you liable for business rates on your home, as well as council tax fees.

  • If you have more than one director, then you will need to decide which address to use.

  • If you move home then you will need to update your address, as well as with all government bodies.

  • If your business is registered in England and Wales, but you are located elsewhere internationally, then you will require an address in England or Wales.

Why Get A Business Address?

Having a Limited Company means that, the company is a separate entity to the owners and directors. The company is totally separate to the owners and directors, meaning they are not liable for the company’s debt, should the company ever run into difficulty.

The difference with being a sole trader in comparison to a limited company, means you are fully liable for all business aspects.

The main advantage of running your business as a limited company, is that you are likely to pay less personal tax than a sole trader.  If you decide to become a director and shareholder of a limited company, you may choose to take a small salary and draw most of your income in the form of dividends.

Types of Companies

There are different company structures which needs to be chosen before incorporation. We will discuss with you to find the appropriate structure if you are unsure.

·         Limited by Shares (LTD)

·         Limited by Guarantee (Non profit)

·         Limited Liability Partnerships (LLP)

·         Community Interests Company (CIC)

·         Irish Company Registration

Business Address Service includes:

  • Dedicated Company Support

  • Company Constitution – All Irish companies requires a detailed Constitution which is compliant with the Companies Act 2014.  This is a document that sets out the rules of how you wish your company to regulate its affairs. We provide this for you when you register your company with us.

  • Company Registration Office Fees – All new incorporations will have registration and administration fees, so there are no extra or hidden fees involved.

  • Certificate of Incorporation – This successfully confirms that your company has been registered in Ireland and will show the new company name and the number – (Please be advised, no matter how many times you may want to change a company’s name, the company number will never change, not unless you incorporate a new limited company with a new company number.)

  • Share Certificates – All new share certificates are recorded with the shareholders names and addresses, which is then signed by the company director and the company secretary of the company.

Ready Made Companies (off the shelf)

Sometimes, it is preferable to use a ready made company in order to get started, which are also known as “off the shelf” companies.

These companies are already incorporated and are sitting dormant for this purpose. The benefit of these, is that they can be used to instantly start a company by changing the name and director details.

An “off the shelf” company is a limited company, pre-registered at Companies House, but has never traded, and is ready to be used immediately. This can give the same sense of longevity for a company.

We have companies registered ready for this purpose, let us know which you prefer when you choose to use our registered address service.
